Funding Application Form

Thank you for your interest in The British Asian Trust. Please review the notes below before completing the application form.

Exclusions:

• The Trust will not fund organisations where the main focus is not on providing education, health or enterprise development services.
• The Trust does not provide funding for individual projects.
• The Trust will not fund corpus development.
• The Trust will not normally fund the following: individuals, events, for profit organisations, start-ups, advocacy or faith-based organisations.

Notes:

• Our funding procedure and guidelines were devised with assistance from New Philanthropy Capital.
• The Trust only works in partnership with co-funders in India. Our current partners are American Indian Foundation, EdelGive Foundation, Dasra and HSBC Foundation.
• The Trust prefers to work with organisations that have been Credibility Alliance rated in India. On receiving funding from the Trust, we will support all our NGOs in India to
  register on GuideStar India portal.
• It is mandatory for organisations in Pakistan to have received certification from Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy.
