The British Asian Trust Funding Process is designed to ensure funds are used in the most efficient way and are allocated to charities that provide sustainable impact.
The Funding Process:
- Step 1: completion of an online application form by a charity or its funding partner.
- Step 2: thorough due diligence process if the charity is aligned with the Trust’s objectives.
- Step 3: a visit to the organisation by Trust’s staff depending on performance at Step 2.
- Step 4: all due diligence papers are submitted to the Trust’s Investment Committee who will review and recommend selected charities to the Board of Directors who have the final say on shortlisted organisations.
Funding Timetable:
- Grants are awarded on an annual basis, with a typical funding relationship of up to three years.
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but decisions can take upto 4 months.
- The Trust will attempt to respond to all applicants.
Please review the funding notes and exclusions before making your application for funding.
