County Cricketers target £20,020 for The British Asian Trust

County cricketers competing in the new Friends Provident t20 can raise £20,020 for The British Asian Trust hitan and cricketeersby hitting the Rubicon Target, a large brightly-coloured target that will feature in the stands at county grounds throughout the competition.

Designed to encourage flamboyant cricketing moments, the Rubicon Target was on show for the first time as Sussex Sharks took on Somerset at the County Ground, Hove for the t20 launch on 1 June.

Rubicon, maker of exotic fruit juice drinks, has chosen The British Asian Trust as its nominated charity.

Manoj Badale, Chairman at The British Asian Trust, says, “Twenty20 cricket is a smashing format where batsmen really go for broke. We hope they take on the challenge during the competition and go for the Rubicon Target.”
