Trust Charities Showcased in Photo Exhibition

The inspiring work of two Trust partner charities in India comes to life in a special photography exhibition 10-12 November in London.

Trust Charities Showcased in Photo ExhibitionRenowned photographer Charlotte Anderson captures the essence of Mann Deshi School and Saath in her photos on display at Indar Pasricha Fine Arts.

Asha, a photographic journey capturing empowerment across India, vividly portrays the work of the 14 social entrepreneurs she met during her 14-week voyage. Through collaboration with Trust partner Dasra, Charlotte undertook the project to provide high quality images for use by the organisations she visited to raise awareness and funds for their high-impact work with women entrepreneurs in disadvantaged communities.

Mann Deshi is India’s first and only business school for illiterate rural women. It provides comprehensive training in accountancy, marketing and technical skills so graduates can launch their own business. Saath’s Umeed programme links young people living in slums to training and jobs.

You are invited to visit the exhibition at Indar Paricha Fine Arts, 22 Connaught Street, London W2 2AF from 10-12 November 2010.
