The British Asian Trust has been selected as the preferred Charity of the Year 2010 for Asian Art in London, a landmark event in the Asian art calendar.
The event for ‘all things in the World of Asian Antiques and Fine Art’ takes place 4-13 November.
Asian Art in London brings together London’s leading Asian art dealers from Kensington Church Street, Mayfair and St James’s for sales exhibitions. They are joined by the major auction houses of Bonhams, Christie’s and Sotheby’s who hold auctions and gallery talks. In addition, premier London museums and institutions feature special exhibitions and lectures during Asian Art in London.
“It is an honour to be selected as the preferred charity for this year’s Asian Art in London event,” said Manoj Badale, chairman of The British Asian Trust. “We are grateful for this opportunity to share the Trust’s vital work in the crucial areas of education, enterprise and health with event participants.”
