Two of the brightest women stars in their professions have become Ambassadors for The British Asian Trust.
Award-winning England women’s cricketer Isa Guha and celebrated DJ Neev Ranu join our team of celebrity Ambassadors from the worlds of sport, music, entertainment and TV.
The voice of the Kiss network, Neev’s radio show attracts close to a million listeners and her lunchtime programme has gone national.
“I’m very excited to be part of such an amazing organisation,” said Neev. “ I’m astounded with just how much has been achieved in such a small amount of time. I feel honoured to become an Ambassador and finally I hope that I can make a real difference in India. It’s something that I have only dreamed of doing all these year,” she said.
Isa Guha, a key player in England’s most successful women’s cricket team, started playing cricket at 8 and made her England debut at 17.
“I am delighted to play a role in helping young people in South Asia and the UK to realise their dreams - and their rights - to an education, health care and a future through The British Asian Trust,” Isa said. “As an Ambassador, I am lending my support to help the Trust alleviate poverty and create lasting change in disadvantaged communities.”
