The UK India Business Council

The UK India Business Council (UKIBC) is the lead organisation supporting the British Government in the promotion of bilateral trade, business and investment between the two countries.

UKIBC have selected one of The British Asian Trust’s charities, the Mann Deshi School as their ‘charity of their year’ for 2009-2010.

The Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants

The Worshipful Company of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales General Charitable Trust, or CALC for short, is the charity established by the Court of the WCCAEW to give to charitable causes. The trustees of CALC are appointed by the Court of the livery company. The Objects of the Trust, among others, are the relief of poverty and the advancement of education throughout the world.

Lord’s - The Home of Cricket

Lord’s have entered into a partnership with The British Asian Trust to host the British Asian Challenge - a Twenty20 cricket tournament with all proceeds going to The Trust’s charities for the next four years. The partnership helps attracts a new audience to the home of cricket and also helps the Trust raise awareness of its work in South Asia.
