Shraddha Iyer

Shraddha is a development sector professional with prior experience across strategy and programme implementation spanning India, Germany and Italy across education, agriculture, gender equality and innovative financing. Prior to joining the British Asian Trust, Shraddha worked with GDi, an impact consulting startup based in New Delhi. At GDi, driven to steer systemic impact, she worked with government systems and global philanthropies to design and implement an out-of-school learning programme during the COVID-19 pandemic for 9.7 million students in Rajasthan; an outcome linked ed-tech programme with NITI Aayog and the Dell Foundation in Uttar Pradesh; provided strategic support to leading philanthropy to enable cross learning within the Gender Equality Digital Connectivity team, and implemented a transformative agriculture strategy for Jammu and Kashmir. In the past, she has worked with organisations such as the United Nations World Food Programme, Teach For India and Goodera.

Academically, she holds a Master's of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Germany. Outside of work, she is passionate about learning new languages, is a fitness enthusiast and loves cooking.
