Digital Communications Officer

About the British Asian Trust

The British Asian Trust is a dynamic, international development organisation, delivering high-quality programmes in South Asia to drive positive change across the region. The Trust was founded in 2007, by HRH The Prince of Wales and a group of British Asian business leaders, to tackle widespread poverty, inequality and injustice in the region. We have programmes in education, mental health, livelihoods, child protection and conservation.

Role overview:

We’re looking for a Digital Communications Officer to help us build the reach and profile of the British Asian Trust across our various digital channels (website, social media, e-newsletters etc). You’ll take the lead on content creation but equally love analytics, SEO and understanding all the factors that drive online reach and engagement. You’ll lead on creating exciting plans and campaigns to drive our digital engagement and increase advocacy and support for our work across both the UK and South Asia.  It’s a diverse and exciting role where you’ll have the opportunity to work on a mix of strategy and be hands-on. One day you could be creating video content on our conservation work, the next writing web content on women’s empowerment or working with some of our great ambassadors to build our social media reach. We are a great team so if you think you have the experience and skills for this role, we’d love to hear from you!
