Special BAFTA event with Sir Ben Kingsley

It was wonderful to see so many of our Founders Circle members at a fantastic evening that saw the British Asian Trust and BAFTA hold a joint event at BAFTA’s elegant headquarters in Piccadilly, London. Our guests included over 20 Founders Circle and Advisory council members, Trustees and Ambassadors. Our Chair Manoj Badale expertly co-hosted the evening with Krish Majumdar, Chair of BAFTA Television Committee and we were honoured that Sir Ben Kingsley attended as special guest. As a highlight, we were treated to a brilliant interview with Sir Ben by our very own ambassador Nina Nannar, which yielded fascinating insights into his life and career and his praise for our focus on anti-trafficking. During an elegant reception, guests sampled some delicious food and mingled with BAFTA’s Academy Circle Members.
