Jess Rice

Jess has been working in the humanitarian and development sector in both programme management and institutional fundraising roles. Most recently she worked at Age International leading proposal development and grant management with country offices across Africa. Prior to this, Jess was based in Somalia with the HALO Trust, generating income and overseeing grant management for landmine clearance projects. In addition, Jess has worked at War Child, and at Save the Children International.
Alongside programme funding, Jess is a project and programme manager, with qualifications in Managing Successful Programmes, Change Management and PRINCE 2. Jess took a break from the sector to join the UK civil service, where she was based in the government's "centre of excellence" for project delivery within the cabinet office and was placed as an advisor to one of the government's major programmes in the Ministry of Justice.
Jess has a MA in Conflict, Security and Development from the University of Exeter
