Rajib Mahmood
Rajib has experience in programme management, strategic partnerships, and fundraising across the social development and humanitarian sectors in Bangladesh. He holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka and a BSc in Economics and Finance from North South University.
Rajib began his career with Bangladesh SME Corporation Limited, managing UKAID-funded initiatives focused on financial inclusion and digital innovation for rural enterprises. He later joined SAJIDA Foundation, where he led a portfolio of programmes in mental health and livelihoods, working closely with government, private sector, and community partners to strengthen access to services and improve wellbeing outcomes.
At the British Asian Trust, Rajib leads the organisation’s programmes in Bangladesh, overseeing initiatives in climate innovation, livelihoods, and mental health. He plays a key role in advancing the Trust’s strategic objectives, ensuring effective programme delivery, compliance, and partnerships that contribute to sustainable and inclusive development.
