Fundraising Manager - Elephant Family
About the British Asian Trust
The British Asian Trust is a diaspora-led international development organisation, delivering high quality programmes in South Asia. Since our formation, we have reached the lives of over 18 million people across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka with high-impact interventions to address the subcontinent’s critical unmet needs in areas of livelihoods, mental health, education, child protection and conservation.
Elephant Family is a conservation charity and part of the British Asian Trust family of organisations. It protects Asia’s endangered wildlife by working alongside communities to create lasting solutions to the challenges facing people and wildlife. This role will help secure support for our strategic priorities, including protecting Asian elephants, enabling coexistence between people and wildlife, strengthening Indigenous and local conservation leadership, and scaling approaches that create the conditions for people and wildlife to thrive.
Role overview:
We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Fundraising Manager to build and grow relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporates and event partners, securing significant support for Elephant Family’s conservation ambitions. This role will combine strategic relationship management with the development of a strong pipeline of new prospects and opportunities, helping to grow income and meet ambitious fundraising targets.
You’ll work across the organisation to develop compelling proposals, create meaningful cultivation and stewardship opportunities, and help deliver our flagship fundraising events and campaigns. Working closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Events, Programmes, and Communications and Marketing, you’ll play an important role in growing our network of supporters and securing sustainable income for Elephant Family’s conservation work.
