Most Exotic Bicycle Tour Fundraising Pack

Thank you so much for joining the Most Exotic Bicycle Tour 2026. This fundraising pack has been developed to help you raise funds in support of the British Asian Trust’s programmes with children in India.

Welcome, and congratulations!

You're taking on the Most Exotic Bicycle Tour 2026 — our 8th edition in 10 years. Since launching in 2016, this ride has brought together an incredible community of riders who have raised over £3.5 million for the British Asian Trust.

This year we're cycling from the royal city of Mysore, through Coorg's coffee estates and the Western Ghats, past Kabini and Nagarhole National Parks, and on to Bengaluru — a route packed with scenery, wildlife and unforgettable hospitality.

Every mile you ride, and every pound you raise, supports the British Asian Trust's work protecting vulnerable children across South Asia from violence, abuse, trafficking and exploitation — helping give them a safer, brighter future. 

In this pack you will find: 

  • Two things we need from you now — flight details and travel insurance Your 6-week training plan, indoors or outdoors 
  • Everything you need to fundraise: your target, milestones, sample messages and hot tips 
  • Practical information for the trip: kit list, visa, vaccinations and where we're staying

Action needed now 

Before anything else, there are two things we need from every rider as soon as possible — please don't wait until closer to the trip. 

1. Your flight details 

Please send your flight details to camille.boukhaled@britishasiantrust.org as soon as they're booked. 

2. Your travel insurance 

Every participant must have travel insurance in place. Please send the following details to Camille as soon as possible:

  • Insurance company
  • Policy number
  • Emergency contact phone number (insurance company) 
  • Emergency contact / next of kin 

  • Create your fundraising page & fundraising support
